Currently the Town of Camp Verde Marshal’s Office offers volunteer opportunities for the Citizens on Patrol Program. After completing a 40-hour training course, volunteers can assist with the Citizens on Patrol program, handicapped parking violation enforcement, records and front desk assistance, dispatch, property and evidence, and traffic control. If you are interested, please stop by and visit with Darby Martin at the Marshal’s Office located at 646 S 1st Street in Camp Verde or call (928) 554-8308 today!
Fort Verde State Park needs volunteers to assist with basic operations of the park, including: greeting visitors, taking entry fees, discussing the history of the Fort and selling gift shop items. Volunteers may also assist with maintenance projects, grounds keeping and historical reenactment. The Town of Camp Verde partners with State Parks through an Inter-governmental agreement to help fund the operation of the Fort. If you are interested in volunteering your time at Fort Verde State Historic Park, contact Park Manager, Sheila Stubler at (928) 567-3275.
