Camp Verde Tree Advisory Committee (TAC)
The TAC is a Town Manager-appointed committee of tree-loving volunteers.
Mission: Advise and educate the Town of Camp Verde on sustainable urban forestry management in order to protect, enhance and expand the community’s tree resources.

TAC officially formed in Fall 2014, as per Ordinance 2014-A402 by the Town Council.
Goals:
- Beautify Camp Verde by planting trees and managing invasive species.
- Host an annual Arbor Day and stay a Tree City USA.
- Advise the Town on best practices for tree planting and urban forest management.
- Provide community volunteer and educational opportunities.
Tree City USA
The Town of Camp Verde has been a Tree City since 2014.
Tree City USA is a national Arbor Day Foundation program that guides communities toward creating a healthy urban forest.
The annual designation requires:
- Tree Board or Committee
- Tree Care Ordinance
- Arbor Day and Mayoral Proclamation
- Community Forestry Program
- Annual Budget of at least $2 per Capita

Produced in 2020 by the Camp Verde Tree Advisory Committee (TAC) in collaboration with Town staff and various community groups, this document serves as the Camp Verde Municipal Tree Plan.
