Water Metering Services is responsible for the collection of monthly water meter readings for the Utility Billing.

They also collect and document meter re-reads, turn-ons and turn-off’s, meter maintenance and replacements. The Meter Readers also install water meters to establish water service and also disconnect water service as required. Our Metering Services staff collects water meter data for over 1,900 water meters each month using electronic meter reading devices or manually. The Meter Reading staff also responds to individual service repair orders and is dispatched for various customer inquiries.

Construction Hydrant Meters

Construction Hydrant Meters are available through the Town of Camp Verde for construction projects that require potable water, prior to the release of a water meter for the construction site.

A construction hydrant meter may be supplied upon request as a temporary source of potable water where there is no reliable water source available for construction work or for permitted Town events. The Town of Camp Verde’s construction hydrant meters are now equipped with a reduced pressure back flow assembly and the Town’s Water division performs the back flow testing.
