Join us on Thursday, September 30th from 5:30-7:00 pm in Camp Verde Community Library's Fireside Room for an exciting performance from Kemosabe, a talented song & dance duo consisting of Chris Brown and his wife Laura. Chris is a singer-songwriter and plays 6 and 12-string guitar and harmonica. His musical style could be called adult acoustic or Americana. Over the years Chris has played at dozens of venues in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona, he has appeared on TV multiple times, and he’s sold hundreds of his CDs.
Laura is a gifted and fully trained ballet, modern, and jazz dancer who relies on her 13 years of experience as a high-level professional ballerina with the Colorado Ballet (prima ballerina) Chicago Ballet (principal), and San Francisco Ballet. She now calls herself a “gypsy” dancer and performs for the pure joy of it.
Together they are “Kemosabe”, a word used by the Lone Ranger and Tonto to mean trusted friend. See and hear Chris and Laura’s strong connection to each other at the Camp Verde Community Library on Thursday, September 30 at 5:30 PM. Admission is free.
