The 2021 Wreath Contest was a big success!

Friends of Camp Verde Library thanks everyone who participated in making the 2021 Wreath Contest and Silent Auction an outstanding success. The event raised $1,100 for our library.

The community donated 33 wreaths created using traditional evergreens, ornaments, and snowmen, as well as cornhusks, computer parts, and keys. Voting was difficult, and as one person wrote on the ballot “honestly, it is difficult to choose.” Many votes were cast with the following results:

  • Camp Verde Ace Hardware’s Taylor Hall and her very creative “Keyed Up For the Holidays” wreath garnered first place.
  • Second place was awarded to Debbie Schwallie for the lovely “Roses & Music” wreath made with folded sheet music.
  • Patti Bowers, a library volunteer, took third place with her “Joy” evergreen arrangement.

A special thank you to the local businesses that contributed gift card prizes: Bashas Grocery Store, Beto’s Corner, Crusty’s Pizza, Moscato Italian Restaurant and Thanks a Latte.
