FRIENDS OF CAMP VERDE LIBRARY BOOK AND MATERIAL DONATION GUIDELINES

Due to limited space, we ask that you comply with these guidelines when considering a donation to Camp Verde Community Library.

We accept:

• Paperback and hardback fiction and nonfiction books  DVDs and music CDs
• Audiobooks on CD
• Jigsaw puzzles

We DO NOT accept:

• Books more than 10-years old
• Tapes (video VHS or audio cassettes)
• Encyclopedia sets
• Textbooks
• Reader’s Digest condensed books
• Magazines
• Harlequin or Silhouette romance novels

A small donation in a bag or box that you can carry in your hands in one trip are accepted during library open hours.

Large donations of more than one bag or box are only accepted on TUESDAYS between 9:00a and noon. Maximum of four bags or boxes each weighing less than 30 pounds.

For special or larger donations, please consult with library staff. Call (928) 554-8380 to discuss arrangements.

While we appreciate your donation, we also value our volunteers and do not want to abuse their kindness. Please help us respect them and their time.

We DO NOT want books or other items that have mold, water damage, dirt, pest debris, or tobacco smoke. We cannot use books or other items that are yellowing, torn, or falling apart.

Friends of Camp Verde Library is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Your donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Ask at the front desk for a receipt.
